FILLOS DO VENTO
Brand Identity for Fillos do Vento Immersive Experience
Official Selection Immersive Competition — 2025 Cannes Film Festival
I collaborated with Sutton Studios and film director Brais Revaldería to develop the brand identity and visual direction for Fillos do Vento, an immersive experience and forthcoming documentary inspired by Rapa das Bestas, one of Spain’s oldest living traditions. At its core, Rapa das Bestas is a powerful ritual where locals gather to trim the manes of wild horses, a vital act that helps protect the animals health. This powerful ritual explores the deep connection between humans, wild horses, and the natural world.
The goal was to craft a visual identity that honored the essence of the tradition while elevating the project’s presence, ensuring it stood out among the diverse and innovative entries in the immersive competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

The Fillos do Vento poster evokes the raw, emotional interplay between humans and wild horses, reflecting how ancestral rituals like Rapa das Bestas honor and sustain the sacred relationship between humans and nature.
I created the key visual for the poster using Midjourney, inspired by scenes from the upcoming documentary and the heart of the tradition. The result was a distinctive, high-quality asset that captured the essence of the story and met Cannes requirements on an incredibly tight deadline.
The typography draws subtle inspiration from historic manuscript lettering, reflecting the heritage of Rapa das Bestas, a 400 years tradition, while integrating bold, contemporary elements that align with the innovative nature of the immersive experience. This blend maintains a raw, primitive essence while anchoring the design firmly in the present, echoing the tension between tradition and modernity.
